As of lately I’ve been really thinking of the words Emancipation and Freedom.

The world will try to hold us down and get us entangled in all kinds of bondage.

Addictions, debt, shopping, idol worship- (yes your favorite rock group/sports team can be an idol), gambling, overeating, drinking too much… etc.

All of this can all be bondage. But the Lord came to break all that off of you.

John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

In Jesus Christ we have the assurance that we are saved through our faith in Him and will spend eternity with Him.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,

Accept Jesus Christ and admit you are a sinner. Believe in Him. He is the son of God and rose after three days, and confess He is Lord, publicly.

Ask the Lord to renew your mind and if you need help getting rid of an addiction ask Him for help. He will answer your prayers.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

He is faithful and just. And He loves you so much and wants you to be free. In Him.
