Recently I have been going through some really hard times within my family. The kind that looks like there’s no hope that circumstances will change.
In the midst of these troubles I started to feel a certain way.
Grateful, blessed. Even joyful.
How can you have peace in the midst of those storms that seem to be overtaking you?
Rest in Him.
When it seemed like I didn’t know how I could face the day I thought of the Lord’s Prayer.

“Give us this day our daily bread…”
And that’s what I stated doing every morning. In my prayer time I started to ask for my daily bread from the Lord.
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Life can be overwhelming at times. I can be upset every single day about something going on in my life. The person who cut me off on the way to work, the person who parked over the line and didn’t leave me enough room to get in my car, that co-worker’s sarcastic remark.
But because He is good that is my peace and rest.
Lord, I pray for every person reading this blog that you will lift their anxieties and worries. We give you our cares Lord and I pray for peace over their lives. Help them to take that deep breath and inhale your goodness King Jesus. Because you are always good. Give us this day our daily bread. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
